How do you get involved?
The Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec is looking for volunteers to help them during the weeks, in April and May, preceding the National Conference to Defeat Cancer, and for the 2 days of the conference itself on May 14 and 15, 2009. We invite you to look at the list of assignments below, and if you are interested to volunteer, please contact the Coalition Priorité Cancer au Québec.

Description of assignments
Before the event
Telephone support
Confirmation of registrations, transportation requests, and day care needs. Communications with participants under guidance from the Welcome and Registration Office.
During the event (May 14 and 15, 2009)
Welcome Team
Direct participants towards the appropriate service points, welcome them at the entrance of various rooms, provide them with headphones as required.
Crowd Control Team
Ensure, in cooperation with Hyatt Regency employees, crowd control at the event sites and in waiting lines.
Registration Management Team
Confirm the attendance of participants/guests, provide them with their ID badge (each group is color-coded) and with the relevant documentation.
Food Break Team
Ensure the distribution of snacks (at breaks) and lunch boxes at the different service points.
Recruitment of Sympathizers Team
Record the contact information from participants interested in becoming sympathizers, and provide them with the relevant documentation.
Break Rooms Team
Ensure a presence in the participants’ break rooms.
Volunteers Rooms Team
Ensure a presence in the volunteers’ break rooms.
Exhibitor’s Hall Team
Provide support to the Exhibitor's Hall coordinator.
Unassigned Support Team
Provide support as required to various conference coordinators, in various areas.
